A shell

A shell, that is what you see. A shell,

that's all you'll get from me. Unlock my

heart and you will see I'm more than

what you think me to be, within my soul

is a galaxy. A shell, the inside locked

away. A shell, if you listen you'll hear the

waves. Protected, untouched by human

hands, small, but inside of me is worlds.

Maybe inside of me is something grand

like a pearl. Please, don't bother to take

me off my sands. You could see worlds

and galaxies if only I fell, but for now all

you will see is this equivocal shell.
